....means it's almost Christmas. Which means I'm obsessing over things that I want to put on my wish list. I'm almost currently enamored with a few of the following:
1. This Thanksgiving prayer (which is appropriate any other time of year):
O Lord, we thank Thee for this food,
For every blessing, every good.
For earthly sustenance and love
Bestowed on us from heaven above.
Be present at our table, Lord.
Be here and everywhere adored.
Thy children bless and grant that we
May feast in paradise with Thee.
2. Homemade treats -- think buckeyes, bourbon balls, oreo truffles, chocolate covered pretzels and homemade chocolate turtles. I may have to incorporate these into my Secret Santa gifts at work!
3. Kentucky basketball. Enough said.
4. EmersonMade. They have darling flower pins, clutches, etc. on their website. I say "darling," because I cannot think of another word to describe them. Take the clutch below for example. Dainty, darling, fun.

I think a shift dress with a brown leather belt accented with one of those flowers or clutches would be cute and classy. The ring pillows are also really sweet. A little expensive, but precious!
5. Black ankle booties. I will own some by the end of winter (hopefully). Any advice on picking a good pair? Taller? Shorter? Leather? Suede? I want to be able to wear them with dress pants if its cold or with tights and a dress. Just not sure the most 'fashionable' yet practical direction to go.
